300 school students, 200 youth, 700 villagers and parents attended the one day, village level, focused group discussion organised along with the school, sarpanch, upsarpanch and other influential persons from the village on “Restricting Minors From Tobacco Consumption”. The awareness camp was organised with the help of District Level Health & Medical Department, renowned puppet artist Kundan Bhatt and Sonu Bhatt, from Udaipur and some doctors. As a result, 35% of the local shopkeepers have stopped the sales of tobacco products to minors.
