Sanjeevani in Bihar fast tracking last-mile healthcare in Assam

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Sanjeevani, signed between the National Health Mission (NHM) and Piramal Foundation in Assam, aims to accelerate last-mile healthcare delivery. Under this 3-year partnership, 80 Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) will operate across 30 districts, impacting 1 lakh beneficiaries monthly. The initiative focuses on early identification of high-risk pregnancies, disease screening, and doorstep healthcare services. Notable figures like Shri. Keshab Mahanta, Dr. Manoj Kumar Choudhury, and key state officials attended the MoU signing, reaffirming the commitment to equitable healthcare access.
