Piramal Sarvajal's Swajal team, which works in 16 aspirational districts across 7 states in India organized a Lunch-and-Learn session with NITI Aayog in New Delhi. The session, held in an exhibition format, detailed the work undertaken in the field of community mobilization through behaviour change communication, institutional strengthening, IoT enabled remote monitoring and source sustainability.

Attendees were captivated by a mix of field images, video-logs, 3-D model, and creative storytelling. The recently designed online dashboard for program and project monitoring was also displayed.

Chief Guest Mr Rakesh Ranjan (Sr Consultant at NITI Aayog) appreciated the Swajal team's efforts and shared insights from recently concluded Co-ordinating Group of Ministers (CGM) meet headed by the Prime Minister. Mr Manish Wasuja, WASH consultant, UNICEF, saw the immense potential in the team's learning to impact the rural water supply policy framework.

Swajal team, within the last 6 months, has facilitated PRA exercises and DPR creation in over 300 habitations that will potentially impact 50,000 community members in few of the most remote locations in the country.
