Nandini Piramal, Chairperson, Piramal Pharma Ltd was among the 56 trailblazing other women from fields as varied as pharma, entertainment, start-ups, finance, and manufacturing being felicitated. The women achievers were honoured by Guest of Honour Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch.

Piramal School of Leadership participated in the multifaceted India Life Skills Conference (ILSC) to advance the dialogue on #LifeSkillsEducation in India and showcase PSL's transformative impact in redefining the educational landscape thereof. Advancing the dialogue on Life Skills Education in India, PSL stands as a pioneering force in implementing different facets of Life Skills Education at an unprecedented scale across 7 states of India underlining the scale of our commitment to enhancing the educational experience at every level. Over 150 stakeholders, including the Piramal Foundation, and SCERT Directors from various States participated in the conference.

Piramal Foundation, in collaboration with Seth G.S. Medical College, King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEM), and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), has initiated a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to address healthcare needs in aspirational districts of Maharashtra. The focus is on improving the well-being of 28 lakh tribal residents, starting in Palghar district, with plans for expansion. Dr. Swati Piramal, Chairperson, Piramal Group commented, “Through a formal partnership, we aim to enhance healthcare services and demonstrate our dedication to creating a positive impact, while remaining true to our core philosophy of 'Doing well and doing good.'

The message of Building Bharat has reached the global platform of G20. The Think Tank Workshop gave Piramal Foundation, an opportunity to present innovative approaches for advancing education and community welfare. Driving the purpose of "Doing Well, Doing Good" the Piramal Pharma Limited(PPL) event held on November 28 at PLU Kurla, Mumbai, witnessed active participation of 32 PPL leaders (Band 5 and above). The event focused on fostering a connection with PPL's core purpose of "Sewa Bhav" through meaningful volunteering. Themed on Water Conservation and Sustainability, the six exhibition stalls showcased initiatives like PSL, THC, DBC, ABC- Water, ABC- Health, and ABC- Education. The leader-led approach, with senior leaders actively engaging, underscored a commitment to societal change. Participants were encouraged to contribute time and expertise, emphasizing a long-term association with carefully selected causes. The strategic emphasis on water-related interventions and sustainability reflects PPL's dedication to addressing critical issues, setting a positive tone for future purpose-driven initiatives.

India Leaders for Social Sector invited Manmohan Singh, Head of Aspirational Bharat Collaborative, Piramal Foundation for a webinar on 4th November, 2023. At the webinar, he focused on the idea that Sarkar, Samaj, Bazar, Sanchar all needs to work together at panchayat, blocks and districts level to contribute towards achieving our aspiration of a Vikashit Bharat!

At the prestigious IPCIDE Conference, it was a moment of great honour to witness our Senior Core Team Member Monal Jayaram representing Piramal Foundation. Championing the transformative impact of AI on education, Monal stressed on the pivotal role of AI-infused educational resources and tools and its role in reshaping the education landscape"If we want to see a positive change in India's last-mile population, we must address our 'mindset' toward education to unlock the vast potential of India's future generations."

At the 10th India CSR Summit & ESG Forum 2023, the Thematic Session on "Aspirational Districts as a Role Model for Collaborative Social Good and Leveraging Government Systems" was moderated by Manmohan Singh, Head of Aspirational Districts Collaborative, Piramal Foundation.

Neelima Pandey, Director, Piramal Foundation, was a distinguished voice at a discussion on ‘Philanthropy in Fostering Collaboration for Women-led Development’ led by Women Entrepreneurship Platform. Emphasizing the spirit of collaboration, Neelima hopes to further empower women-led initiatives through philanthropy, fostering a brighter and more prosperous Bharat.

Anamaya Tribal Health Collaborative Jharkhand team attended the USAID_India Partner's Meet. Led by USAID India Health Office Director Dr. Michelle Lang-Alli, the meet gave our team an opportunity to present a glimpse of our achievements and convergence with other development partners working in Ranchi.

Piramal Foundation along with USAID India conducted the Indigenous Knowledge Systems & Self-Determined Development', a day-long learning conclave on 23rd August to celebrate traditional knowledge systems in Delhi. Veena Reddy, USAID Mission Director to India stated, “Impressed by the vision and passion of prominent representatives from indigenous communities who are promoting local leadership and self-determined development in India. Took away several lessons for decentralizing our approach and engaging local communities more directly”.
