Induction Workshop for Assam’s 7th Batch of Karuna Fellows

Championing Physical Literacy: Transformative Training for School Principals in Jaipur
Piramal School of Leadership introduced an intensive 10-12 hour experiential Physical Literacy (PL) curriculum during a 10-day residential leadership training for the SRG group at SIEMAT Jaipur. Guided by the principle "System Change Starts with Self Change," this training allowed the 50-member cohort of school principals to deeply connect with structured physical movement. Empowerment and Health Awareness Meeting in Bahraich, U.P.
Our team in Bahraich, U.P., recently co-hosted a pivotal convergence meeting. Led by the Gram Pradhan, the gathering enlightened over 60 women, including adolescent girls, on various government empowerment schemes such as Mahila-E-Haat and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. Welcoming Karmayogi Saarthis: A Landmark Collaboration with the Capacity Building Commission
In a landmark collaboration with the Capacity Building Commission (CBC), Piramal School of Leadership proudly welcomed 11 program coordinators known as Karmayogi Saarthi. The inaugural ceremony held in New Delhi on June 11, 2024, was honored by the presence of distinguished guests such as Piramal Foundation CEO Mr Aditya Natraj, CBC Chairman Mr Adil Zainulbhai, Secretary CBC Mr S.P. Roy, CBC members Ms. Alka Mittal and Dr. R. Balasubramaniam, Piramal Foundation Core Team Member Mr. Saurabh Johri, and several Ministries, Departments, and Organisations (MDOs). As a part of Mission Karmyogi, these young, dynamic, and dedicated program coordinators during their #SewaJourney will facilitate capacity building while fostering collaboration within various MDOs. They will assist the Capacity Building Unit (CBU) team in implementing the Annual Capacity Plan, adhere to Karmayogi guidelines, and support the Central Civil Service Training Institutions in onboarding the Accreditation framework. TB Mukt Bharat: Mizoram's First Health Camp in Aizawl District Jail
TB Mukt Bharat in Mizoram organized its first health camp for inmates and staff at District Jail, Aizawl. The camp screened for TB symptoms using the Cough AI app and AI-enabled handheld X-ray machines in collaboration with USAID India. Sputum samples from presumed TB cases were sent for molecular testing.
Induction Program at Patna
From May 27th to 29th, Aspirational Bharat Collaborative held a dynamic induction program in Patna for new team members joining between August 2023 and March 2024. The program began with introspective journaling activities that encouraged self-discovery and clarified roles and aspirations. Day 2 focused on aligning new hires with the organization's mission and strategy, ensuring a sense of purpose in contributing to broader goals, including the "Big Bet" strategy. Piramal Pharma Limited event to renew the vow of Sewa Bhaav
Driving the purpose of "Doing Well, Doing Good" the Piramal Pharma Limited(PPL) event held on November 28 at PLU Kurla, Mumbai, witnessed active participation of 32 PPL leaders (Band 5 and above). The event focused on fostering a connection with PPL's core purpose of "Sewa Bhav" through meaningful volunteering. Themed on Water Conservation and Sustainability, the six exhibition stalls showcased initiatives like PSL, THC, DBC, ABC- Water, ABC- Health, and ABC- Education. The leader-led approach, with senior leaders actively engaging, underscored a commitment to societal change. Participants were encouraged to contribute time and expertise, emphasizing a long-term association with carefully selected causes. Medical College, King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEM), and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), has initiated a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to address healthcare needs in aspirational districts of Maharashtra. The focus is on improving the well-being of 28 lakh tribal residents, starting in Palghar district, with plans for expansion. Piramal Foundation along with USAID India conducted the Indigenous Knowledge Systems & Self-Determined Development', a day-long learning conclave on 23rd August to celebrate traditional knowledge systems in Delhi.
