Piramal Swasthya co-authors the first edition of IAPSM textbook of community medicine

The 46th Annual National Conference of Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine and International Symposium on National Health Protection Mission was held at Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla from 7th to 10th March 2019.

The textbook is designed and prepared by specialists in Community Medicine across the country. Dr. Ayesha Nawaz is one of the authors of the textbook.

Dr. Ayesha Nawaz, Dr. Subrata Chanda and Dr. Sonali Randhawa represented Piramal Swasthya at the Conference and presented research papers highlighting the Community Outreach Programmes by Piramal Swasthya.

Dr. Ayesha Nawaz presented a paper on Ujjivan Mobile Medical Services titled "Demographic profile and prevalence of Non-Communicable disease among population attending a Mobile Medical Unit."

Dr. Subrata Chanda presented a paper on Sparsha Mobile Medical Services titled "Reaching the unreached through mobile health services in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh: 'SPARSHA'- A CSR initiative."

 

Dr. Sonali Randhawa presented a paper on STFCL Mobile Medical services titled "Uptake of Mobile health services by trucker's community: Analysing morbidity profile and risk factor."

Piramal Swasthya’s Community Outreach Programmes were highly appreciated by the delegates at the Conference.

At the inaugural ceremony of Conference, the First Edition of IAPSM textbook of Community Medicine was launched. The textbook is designed and prepared by specialists in Community Medicine across the country. Dr. Ayesha Nawaz is one of the authors of the textbook.
