Piramal Swasthya unites against HIV AIDS on World AIDS Day 2018

On World AIDS Day, 1st December 2014, India’s first HIV AIDS Counselling Helpline Service – 1097 called as National AIDS Helpline 1097 was launched by National AIDS Control Organisation (NACP), supported by Population Service International and implemented by Piramal Swasthya.

1097 assists in achieving NACP’s goal of reducing new infections by 50% and providing comprehensive care, support, and treatment to all persons living with HIV/AIDS, prevention of those who are not infected and care, support & treatment for those who have been infected.

  • Counseling in 12 regional languages

This World AIDS Day, Piramal  Swasthya’s employees united in its fight against the spread of HIV and showed their support to those who are living with HIV.

Swasthya’s 1097 has worked tirelessly towards spreading awareness about what impacts the lives of many HIV-  affected people.
