The Asia Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN) Conference 2019, held on 25th June, focused on bringing together a diverse group of funders and resource providers from around the globe to take part in the largest gathering of social investors in Asia.

Their goal is to ensure that social investors are best equipped to address key social challenges facing Asia today and in the future.

Mr Phanse, an official member of AVPN, represented Piramal Swasthya at the conference as one of the key speakers for a panel discussion on ‘Amplifying Impact through Public-Private Collaboration’.

At the Conference, Mr Phanse not only shared the importance, experience and lessons learned from operating large-scale Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) models to close the last-mile gap to primary healthcare but also highlighted the need of developing platforms with PPP that will lead to greater outcomes.

Mr Phanse spoke about establishing platforms that serve as a public good, allowing multi-sector and multilevel partners to collaborate on a transparent basis. He also shed light on how we can innovate towards creating impact at real scale and the importance of leveraging technology to achieve effective collaboration.
