In collaboration with the government, efforts are underway to re-engineer the ESIC scheme and accelerate its digital adoption for improved healthcare accessibility.
At the ESI Dispensary in Chakan, Pune, this transformation has led to the generation of 5,000+ Unique Health IDs, 3,000+ online prescriptions, and 3,000+ Electronic Health Records, achieving 100% digitization of the facility.
This intervention was spearheaded by dynamic Gandhi Fellows, who established a helpdesk and streamlined key processes, including inventory management, record maintenance, certificate generation, and referrals to secondary and tertiary care institutions.
