I have always had a passion for badminton, but over the past year, I discovered how it helps me feel centered, present, and equipped to handle challenging situations. As a Batch-11 fellow, where the motto is "Once a fellow, always a fellow," I integrated badminton into my daily morning routine, which provides me with immense mental satisfaction.
Regular practice of badminton helps me find my zeal and happiness, balancing the ups and downs of the day. Focusing on the game allows me to forget stress and negative thoughts, enabling me to fully enjoy the present moment. This sport not only boosts my concentration and focus but also aids in planning and strategizing to overcome daily challenges. I started sharing my journey and insights on social media platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn, and within my team. This initiative has grown into a team that includes both government and other stakeholders, where we play and discuss various topics, strengthening our bonds. Fellows have also adopted badminton as a morning activity, and it’s heartening to learn that they’ve found it to be an effective stress-relief technique.
Badminton is more than just a hobby-it’s a vital part of my life that motivates and empowers me to face each day with confidence and resilience. Through sharing this passion, I’ve enriched my own life and positively impacted the lives of others, nurturing a sense of community and well-being.
