At Open Source India, Ravi Trivedi, Chief Digital Officer, Digital Bharat Collaborative, showcased AMRIT, an open-source Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform, as an example of how collaboration and openness can strengthen India’s public health ecosystem.
The session highlighted how open source can reinforce digital public infrastructure, align solutions with community and stakeholder needs, and enable developers to contribute meaningfully to India Stack and public digital goods. It underscored that open source goes beyond code—it drives impact, inclusion, and nation-building.
