Jan Sahayata Koshang Receives Silver at 26th National E-Governance Awards

In West Singhbhum district, the Public Help Cell has been instrumental in effectively addressing citizens' concerns, successfully resolving 1224 complaints within the specified timeframe. This proactive approach and the notable impact prompted the West Singhbhum district administration to submit their commendable initiative, named 'Jan Sahayata Koshang' (Public Help Cell), for consideration in the 'District level initiative in e-Governance' category at the esteemed 26th National E-Governance award. The 'Jan Sahayata Koshang,' meticulously supervised by dedicated Karuna Fellows, received the prestigious silver category award during the grand ceremony held on August 24th & 25th, 2023, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. This esteemed accolade, presented in recognition of the Public Help Cell/Jan Sahayata Koshang's exceptional contributions, includes a trophy, a certificate acknowledging the efforts of the four-member district team, and a substantial five lakh incentive allocated for the implementation of projects or for bridging gaps in diverse public welfare areas.
