Manmohan Singh, CEO, Aspirational Bharat Collaborative, moderated a Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) session. He said that before offering ready-made solutions such as finance, market linkages or capacity building, stakeholders must first Listen, Unlearn, Re-Learn realities and immerse themselves in the rural context. He emphasized that they should understand the local realities, lived experiences, aspirations and resourcefulness of potential entrepreneurs before proposing any intervention. Only by seeing the world through their eyes can truly rooted and respectful solutions emerge.
