Meet Munni Kumari, a Karuna Fellow from Saran, Bihar. Munni faced the tension between tradition and personal ambition, choosing education and a career in commerce over societal expectations.
In the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), Munni played a key role in collecting data from 4,500 private healthcare facilities. Faced with initial resistance and low cooperation, she embraced the challenge, making approximately 3,000 calls and gathering insights from over 10,000 health professionals.
Through persistence, Munni bridged the awareness gap, earning recognition and contributing positively to ABDM. Her journey embodies resilience and the importance of self-learning as a Karuna Fellow.
