Like many villages in India, Karaunda Masina a small village in Uttar Pradesh seemed caught in a cycle of neglect—broken roads, limited access to healthcare, and children who rarely set foot in a classroom. In the future, he wants to make sanitary pad banks for women and create awareness of menstrual hygiene. Today, Karaunda Masina stands as a beacon of transformation. With its clean surroundings, thriving schools, and empowered women, the panchayat inspires others—a testament to what is possible when leadership meets purpose. Prabhu Dayal’s journey reminds us that change begins with one step, one vision, and the resolve to see it through.
