Rupaali Roshan’s mission of #BuildingBharat focused on health and hope

Contaminated water had been a burden of Dhote Pinpal Khunta village in Maharashtra. Poor sanitation gave rise to typhoid, kidney ailments, and diarrhea, while limited healthcare services left families helpless in times of need. Sarpanch Rupaali Roshan stepped forward with unwavering commitment of Building Bharat by transforming the lives of her people.

To address the water crisis, she spearheaded the construction of ponds, water tanks, and bunds. She ensured clean drinking water reached every household by installing RO filters, leaving no family behind. Her mission didn’t stop there. Rupaali tackled the village’s sanitation woes by overseeing the construction of toilets in every home and setting up proper drainage systems. With the support of the Piramal Foundation, she organized medical camps and health awareness programs, giving residents access to essential healthcare services they had once lacked.

The results were life-changing. The spread of diseases like typhoid and diarrhea significantly declined, and for the first time, families understood the value of clean water and sanitation. Rupaali’s leadership also sparked a sense of ownership among the villagers. Community meetings became platforms for discussions about development and hygiene, empowering residents to be part of their village’s progress. Today, Dhote Pimpal Khunta stands as a shining example of transformation—a model village of health, cleanliness, and hope. Rupaali Roshan’s vision and persistence have not only improved lives but have inspired other villages to follow suit. Her story proves that true change begins when someone decides to take that first step toward a better future.
