
In a significant step towards expanding healthcare access, a collaboration has been established between Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) Limited Foundation and Digital Bharat Collaborative. Through this partnership, the "Satluj Sanjeevani Sewa" Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) service will now extend its reach to Etalin and Anini in Arunachal Pradesh, with an anticipated impact on over 25,000 beneficiaries over the next three years. Currently operational in Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh, the service focuses on addressing non communicable diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes and hypertension, as well as high-risk pregnancies and elderly care.
The agreement was formally signed by Sh. Awadhesh Prasad, General Manager-CSR (SJVN), and Mr. Nitin Rathnam Rebba, Senior Program Director, Digital Bharat Collaborative, in the presence of Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director - Personnel (SJVN), underscoring the shared commitment to strengthening last-mile healthcare delivery.
