MISSION UNNAYAN - a pioneering transformation effort of the Health Department, Government of Bihar and Bihar Nurses Registration Council (BNRC) has been initiated by Honourable Deputy CM, Shri. Samrat Choudhary in Bihar. To leverage the efforts a Tripartite MoU has been inked between the BNRC, Astrika Foundation and Piramal Foundation. This landmark initiative is aimed to improve the quality of nursing education and empower young women in Bihar to compete for high-quality healthcare jobs nationally and internationally. Embracing technology and principles of transparency, accountability, and excellence, Mission Unnayan aims to certify at least 5000 high-quality nurses and place 1000 nurses overseas, creating meaningful job opportunities for women in Bihar.
Bihar Nurses Registration Council has always been providing nursing institutes, students, faculty, and professionals with quality improvement pathways, and this partnership is one such. Under the E-Kshamata learning management system that offers personalized, competency-based learning, the partners will work towards execution of the E-Kshamata application to kickstart large-scale competency development of students & faculty of BNRC.
